音階與琶音: 要背譜   要求 音域 音階(Scale) 所有的調性, 大調 和 小調 雙手 和 分手 三個八度 (旋律或和聲小調由考生自選)     反向音階   第一組: F, 降D/升C 大調 和 和聲小調 第二組: 升F, 降B大調 和 和聲小調 從主音開始 (同音) 二個八度   半音階(Chromatic Scale)   開始的音由考官決定 雙手 和 分手 三個八度   反向半音階   從D (同音) 和 降A (同音)開始 二個八度   琶音 所有的調性, 大調 和 小調 雙手 和 分手 三個八度

視奏(Sight-reading): a piece of around eight to twelve bars in length, time signatures as Grade 4, keys up to four sharps/flats (major) or three sharps/flats (minor). Four-part chords (two notes maximum in either hand), simple syncopation and a slowing of tempo at the end may be encountered.
